FLEI has been producing electrical cables for over 50 years. Industries that require high quality and reliability trust it. The large turnaround came in 1994, when the emergence of fast technology and an enlarged market provided new opportunities. This event made FLEI change their normal electrical cables to the accurate instrumentation solutions. This step made them masters in the most challenging industrial applications.
Instrumentation cables are not ordinary cables of electric signals, it is the nervous system of the modern industrial plants. Special cables are used to connect measurement devices, controllers, sensors, and control devices with each other to provide fine-tuning of measurement and control that makes the complex functioning of various processes safe and efficient.
In refineries, petrochemical plants, and other process plants, precision is necessary. The instrumentation cables that provide the connectivity between the critical parts of the entire systems determine the success of whole systems. Failure of transmission of signals may lead to erroneous measurements, which results in inefficiencies or even dangerous scenarios. That is why FLEI is concentrated on instrumentation cables; the products are not common goods, they are designed to work with critical tasks.

They are able to apply new materials and new production techniques which are internationally accepted like CEI, BS, IEC, VDE, NFC, and EN.
The instrumentation cables of FLEI are very versatile in their configuration; to suit particular requirements. Cables may be screened, armored and in pairs, triples or fours, according to their application. In armoring, there is steel tape, steel wire, steel wire braid or steel flat wire. In the case of screening, it can be aluminum/polyester tape, copper/polyester tape, copper wire or copper wire braid.
