STEAM TRAPS

Steam traps are crucial for steam systems, discharging condensate, air, and non-condensable gases while preventing steam loss to maintain efficiency and protect equipment. STEAM TRAPS G SERIES | BALL FLOAT STEAM TRAPS GC20N

This type of steam trap operates based on the density difference between steam and condensate. It uses the buoyant force generated by an airtight, ball-shaped float to regulate a valve’s opening and closing. There are two primary types of float-operated steam traps: one utilizes a lever system, where the float’s buoyancy transfers force through a lever to control the valve (lever-float steam traps), while the other simplifies the process by having the float itself act as the valve without the need for a lever mechanism (lever-free steam traps). In some lever-float designs, a double-ported balance valve system* is incorporated, allowing these compact units to discharge condensate efficiently at high volumes.

The advanced floating mechanism ensures condensate is discharged immediately at saturation temperature, effectively preventing any condensate buildup on the primary side. This makes it an excellent choice for applications where condensate retention cannot be tolerated.

Efficiently eliminates initial air and cold condensate without delay. The diaphragm air vent adjusts according to the saturation temperature, preventing issues like air locking or steam locking.
