MIYAWAKI pioneered temperature control steam traps for steam tracing applications. Unlike conventional traps, the TB Series uses thermostatic operation to detect temperature differences between steam and condensate. This allows the system to discharge condensate efficiently while preventing valuable steam from escaping.
These steam traps are built with durable internal components capable of operating efficiently even in superheated steam and high-pressure conditions, making them suitable for heavy industrial environments.
One of the standout models in the series is the TB9N, designed to offer reliable and long-lasting performance in challenging steam applications. It combines energy-saving functionality with advanced valve technology for improved operational stability.
The TB Series maintains adjustable condensate subcooling, ensuring a 100% tight seal during operation. This effectively eliminates unnecessary steam loss, helping industries reduce energy consumption and improve overall system efficiency.
The series features MIYAWAKI’s exclusive SCCV (Self Closing & Centering Valve) System, which provides smooth closing operation. This reduces internal wear and erosion, extending the steam trap’s lifespan even under extreme pressure conditions.
During system startup, the TB Series rapidly removes cold condensate and trapped air, functioning efficiently as an air vent. This helps achieve faster startup times and stable steam system performance.
The steam trap controls condensate discharge temperature to maximize sensible heat utilization. This significantly lowers steam consumption and enhances the overall energy efficiency of industrial steam systems.
For easier maintenance, optional blowdown valve configurations allow operators to remove dirt and scale without dismantling the steam trap, reducing downtime and maintenance effort.
