If you’ve spent any time working with compressed air or gas systems, you already know that the small components often carry the most weight. Filters, regulators, fittings, these aren’t glamorous pieces of equipment, but the moment one of them underperforms, you feel it across the entire operation. Lubrication is no different.
The thing is, most people treat lubrication as an afterthought. Oil gets added, equipment keeps moving, and nobody asks too many questions until something seizes up or wears out faster than it should. That kind of approach costs time and money, and it’s entirely avoidable with the right setup.
That’s where a well-designed oil fog lubricator makes a real difference.
The 312L2 Oil Fog Lubricator, offered by Hatta Trading and Services through their partnership with ID Insert Deal, is built around one straightforward goal: delivering a consistent, controlled mist of oil into compressed air or gas lines. Not too much, not too little. Just a regulated amount that keeps downstream equipment running smoothly without flooding the system or starving it.
What sets this unit apart is the integrated adjustment mechanism. Operators can fine-tune how much oil enters the line, which matters a lot in real-world applications where conditions aren’t always predictable. That level of control is something you genuinely appreciate once you’ve dealt with the alternative.
The 312L2 handles maximum inlet pressures up to 50 bar, which puts it comfortably in the range for medium to high-pressure industrial systems. It’s constructed entirely from AISI 316L stainless steel, and that’s not just a specification detail worth skimming past. In environments with moisture, chemicals, or temperature swings, corrosion resistance is the difference between equipment that holds up for years and equipment that needs replacing far too soon.
The oil tank holds around 200 cc, which supports continuous operation without constant refills. It works with oils at viscosity below ISO VG 22, and the sealing materials — FPM, FVMQ, and FFKM — are selected specifically for dependability under varying conditions.
One of the more practical aspects of the 312L2 is how straightforward it is to integrate. It comes with threaded connections in 1/4″, 3/8″, and 1/2″ sizes in both GAS and NPT formats. Flanged connections are available on request, and the unit can also be configured as part of a combined Filter-Regulator-Lubricator assembly if you want a more consolidated solution.
