How the Electro Coagulation Process Works
At the basis of the system is an electrolytic reactor with a regulated flow of electrical current on the specially crafted electrode plates:
- Trace metal ions get discharged into the waste water.
- Such ions destabilize dissolved and suspended contaminants.
- Pollutants are concentrated into bigger particles.
- The fine oxygen bubbles are attached to the particles and they are floated to the surface.
- Separated sludge is gathered at a much lower volume as compared to chemical procedures.
The outcome is a high rate of clarification and oxidation in a single pass operation regardless of biological conditions.
